Jennifer understood how hectic life could become and how challenging it could be to have time to feel and look beautiful every day. She understood that there was a real connection between feeling good and looking good. When Jennifer, a native of London, Ontario, first moved to Hamilton, Ontario to start her nursing career, she realized her passion was in the health and beauty industry. Jennifer was determined to create a spa that took the best features of all of her spa experiences. Jennifer’s vision was to combine the best features of her spa experiences with more advanced treatments and the best technology she could resource. Being a lover for beauty, self-care and believing that everyone should have a sanctuary to rejuvenate and pamper oneself, Monaco was born in 2013. Monaco was built on making beauty convenient, with the best service and products, in a prestigious and glamourous environment. Monaco would be the gold standard in medical spas.
Jennifer graduated from Western University in London, Ontario in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She was among the top students in her program, while at the same time playing varsity rugby on Western University’s nationally ranked women’s team. Earning honours in each year of her program, she received numerous academic awards. She has studied biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, organic chemistry and pharmacology. Her extensive science and nursing background began that same year working as a registered nurse at the Hamilton General Hospital on an acute medicine ward and then moving into the emergency department.
The rewards in helping others compelled Jennifer to create an avenue in the beauty industry for women in eyelash extensions. She had been wearing eyelash extensions for two years. Upon moving to Hamilton, Ontario, she realized the lack of eyelash extension services in Hamilton and decided to provide this service to Hamilton and the surrounding area. She knew firsthand how great of a difference eyelash extensions could be on a woman’s appearance and self esteem. Jennifer decided to join the Cils Evolution team in 2011 and become a certified eyelash extension technician. All of her products were reputable, tested and proven safe for the eyes, eyelashes and skin. Jennifer believed that without the best products, the best results could not be obtained. She prided herself on utilizing nothing but the best tools for her clients.
As Jennifer’s clientele began to grow from the eyelash extensions alone, Jennifer decided to integrate both her medical background with her aesthetic background and pursue medical aesthetics. Presently, Jennifer offers a number of services, combining medical aesthetics and spa services to service her clients but her primary focus is on cosmetic injections, as well as leading ongoing training and education for our nurses and staff. She frequently teaches physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses a tailored course in practical hands-on injecting and theory in Botulinum Toxin A and dermal fillers onsite at the Monaco clinics.
Jennifer has trained extensively in laser hair removal, and laser acupuncture with smoke cessation and weight loss, along with bioidentical hormone replacement with Dr. Neil Rouzier in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jennifer regularly attends international conferences worldwide including private training in Phoenix, Arizona with Dr. Miles Graivier, and with Dr.Sean Rice and Dr. Jack Kolenda in Toronto, Ontario at Mount Sinai Hospital on Advanced Anatomy and Cadaver Dissection. Jennifer has attended advanced absorbable suture training with Dr. Lee in Seoul, South Korea and Dr. William Greenburg in Manhattan, New York City, as well as attending the South Beach Miami Medical Aesthetics Conference in 2018 and 2020. She was fortunate enough to be invited to the prestigious 2018 EuroMedicom conference in Monte Carlo, Monaco to learn the latest and greatest beauty techniques. In January 2020, Jennifer has also attended the Beautiphication Course for Advanced Cosmetic Injectors with Dr. Arthur Swift and Sebastian Cotafana, PhD Medical Sciences Anatomy in Miami, Florida.
Jennifer works closely with Prollenium Medical Technologies, Clarion Medical, Galderma Inc., Allergan Canada, and AlumierMD on updating her knowledge on a regular basis. Jennifer has extensive experience using Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin Cosmetic, Nuceiva, Revanesse dermal fillers, Teosyal dermal fillers, Radiesse dermal filler, Restylane Dermal Fillers, Aquagold, Belkyra fat-dissolving injections and Sculptra Aesthetic Injectables. Jennifer is also one of the few trained injectors trained by Dr. Charles Runels, MD, specializing in the O-Shot in Canada, an injection to increase a woman's libido and rejuvenate her “lady parts”.
